Update on things!!!
I really thanks Nephanor for making sure this group still stays alive. Also, I was very happy to see that there were still images in the queue that needed to be added. Yes, the Love of Elves group is still here! Please continue submitting your work. Reality may yank me away from this place but I'll always come back.
The Love of Elves group would like to personally thank for his hard work. Please visit his site at www.ambientdimension.com/
Welcome to a group that features elves and all their beauty and magic. I accept all artwork dealing with these creatures. As much as I love the fae though, no fairy wings allowed on the elves themselves. The elves accepted here are mostly elves in the classical sense. For a better idea, feel free to review the featured section and the other folders here. If you love these enchanted beings and want to watch the artwork please join. I am always looking for new work featuring elves since they are so beautiful.
Our membership is definitely growing and I am proud of this. Anyone can submit artwork by clicking on the submit art button. Only members of the group can have their work submitted in the featured area from now on. To become a member, please send me a note and I'll be more than happy to invite you. There is no age restriction for this group therefore if you submit work that is for adults only make SURE you mark your work as mature. Nude pictures of elves here are fine but they must be marked as mature.
IMPORTANT NOTE SUBMISSION RULE
After much discussion, the group and I feel it is a good move to limit the number of submissions on a daily basis. Note in a day there will be no more than six submissions allowed into the featured area. This will cut down spam and allow us to review some of the best works. If your submission happens to get rejected, please do not become offended and feel free to resubmit your work. I will have to decline more and more submissions so there isn't a flood of too many pieces of work.
Now we have a submit art button working for the group as well. Please use this button and I will either accept or decline your work based on the daily submissions. Please refrain from asking questions about submissions. Note these are the rules.
Also please review the blogs. If there is news I feel you need to know I will post blogs to update you.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
As you could have guessed I am the owner of the group and I do my best to check in on a daily basis. You have to admit the success of the group relies on the moderator checking in often. I hope to get to know everyone here as more time goes on. In case you are curious, here is some information about me:
I am in my 30's and currently reside in the southern area of the great US of A. I am enjoying my pre middle age years a lot and think this is a time in my life where I am certainly more mature, but still young enough to experience many new things. I am single and in real life I am a dog lover so I never feel alone with my fuzzballs by my side. For fun I also get into the spirit of Mardi Gras, and ever since my childhood I have had a deep burning desire to be part of various fantasy worlds. This desire led to me writing about the worlds I saw so technically I am first a writer at heart. In fact, if you do a search on the web for The Fae Gatekeeper of Dreams I am sure you will find out a lot. She is my muse so I use her as my pen name and she is also the mistress of my dream realm. Her name is 'fae' since she is a type of fairy goddess and she earns the name gatekeeper since she controls the gate to her dream realm. If you want more information about her, just ask and I'm sure she will tell you more. She and I are both very happy I have gotten into digital art since I can now bring the visions in my mind to you. After all, it's all about the vision.
With my muse at my side, I have at least six books written. Many people know about my Servant to Lust series and you can always view my group for the art dedicated to the books. It's not an elf group though and the series is gothic based.
On a realistic level I consider myself an intellectual and I currently have three degrees to my name. The first is a BA in Liberal Arts, second is an MA in English, and third is an MA in Counseling. I am considering getting a PhD but we will see where that road takes me. Due to my education, I teach part time for six different colleges and for most of them I teach online. I do not work for all of them at the same time though but naturally I need to keep the bills paid like everyone. Due to my online work, I can check in with my DA page often.
